My Plumeria has flowers; however, it's been burned from all the horrible heat waves we had recently. It's been a horribly hot summer this year! Photo taken Oct. 6, 2014.

Milky:
The leaves were forest green and so beautiful! Now, some of the leaves are burned and the flowers are very small. I think I may need to fertilize it.
This was the large cutting a Palm Society member gave me August of 2013. It has grown a lot this summer with all the very hot weather.

It looks pretty terrible. It just didn't like all those days of 100ºF (38ºC) or above. It's not actually just the heat it's the amount of hours of heat, by 8:30 a.m. it was above 90ºF (32ºC) and was still around this temp even at midnight. We had too many days like this, this past summer.

Wow that is a lot of heat in one day.....too much for me.

Yes, way too hot!
It's finally cooled down the last two days... it's only in the low to mid 80's (upper 20'sºC), which is normal. The nights are cooling down, also. The morning lows are only around 65ºF (18ºC), it feels very refreshing. :>))
