Also called Colorado Spruce Baby blue. I have it for 2 years now and it grew about six inches this year. I expect it to grow another 6 inches next year .

I love this species,Klahanie..and nice that it is a slow grower..how tall will it get eventually, please? I had an Abies Koreana at our last house, which has similar foliage ,,,but I was a very amateur gardener then, and didn't realise it would get so big !At least it hid a telegraph pole with all the wires coming from it :o)

Thank you both,
I am looking for that answer as well, Bloomer. Most nurseries quote 10 year size. Of course we know it will grow after that. It is slow grower but eventually it will be good size tree. Although, I will not see it . Hope the next occupants will like it :-) I think mature size will be 30 feet.

:-) That is for sure Bloomer. I am checking on it very regularly and I already noticed its growth.
Thank you for your interest. I have Abies Koreana also, new this year that is going to be bigger tree. It is still in a pot but I do have a spot for it where it can grow to its potential.
