Impatiens niamniamensis (Impatiens niamniamensis (Parrot Plant))

Tender, but it makes an impressive bedding plant in a shady spot. This was just a single stem back in May when I planted it out.

Meanie:

It looks terrific! Mine died in the hot, dry weather this year. You're so lucky to have nice moist soil...the soil here in like concrete!

It looked better before I cut a load off for cuttings!

I know they're so easy from cuttings. I used to have many.

Unfortunately, I won't get any more new plants until the severe drought is over. It's senseless.

I would gladly give you our rain!

It would be greatly appreciated. :>)

We may actually get some rain showers this coming Saturday. I hope it happens!

We could potentially get some good rains this winter season. The Pacific Ocean temps along the San Diego coast is still an amazing 70 - 73ºF (21 - 23ºC), very warm for this time of year. Forecasters say El Niño is very weak...however, it appears to be strong along the California coast. Strong El Niño means more rain.
