They're not so rare, at least not in my yard. I'm growing many of these having had good luck with seeds. This one is seed grown and is probably about 7 feet tall.

Good for you Randallsd, are they easy to propagate from seed?

I found that the tiny seeds germinated easily in about 2 weeks at a high rate. The seedlings start out very small and are sensitive to conditions that are to wet or to dry. The challenge is to keep things perfect until they are well rooted and have gain some size.

It looks so good! I can't believe your shrubs looks so healthy...as the one you gave me is now dead from this years heat. :>(
I'll have to walk to your house and get a new one. LOL! :>)

Very elegant and rare. I envy you being able to grow it.
How big is your plant?
