It was once a wee plant in a 6" terra cotta plant about 12 or 13 years ago. Time flies.

I had it in the ground..in part shade. This Cycad that had grown so fast in a greenhouse went at least 4 years with not a single flush..not a single new frond. 3 years ago I moved it into full hottest sun..voila!..since then its made a great comeback. At its worst it had no fronds!
I dont have room to plant it for now. Now that it has a trunk..It looks alright in a pot. Just need a nicer pot.

It's amazing how quickly you can run out of space to plant trees/plants.
I do know most cycads love heat...the hotter the faster they grow.

It looks very healthy. Will you ever plant it in the ground?
