Gone. I'm sure it wasn't getting enough water to thrive. No doubt a palm society member took it home.
The SF botanical garden has been replanting them..and they so grow fast..some must have 12' of trunk over the last 8-10 years. Over there,the full sun is just right for them.

It was a huge fern last time I saw it. I hope it found a good home with lots of water.
Yes, San Francisco is the perfect climate for them.
