Its grown quite a bit since this photo of the bloom. Fast for a fat plant.

Great looking as shrub small trees. They also have them at the Los Angeles arboretum in their Madagascar Garden. One day I can visit south again. Been a decade already since I went to the Huntington. Haven't been to SD since the early 70's as a kid. Shamu was still a guppy..

There's some really nice large ones at the San Diego Zoo.
I've posted photos in the past.
It's been a decade since I've been to the Huntington Gardens and the LA Arboretum, also.
It sounds like you need to trip to beautiful San Diego. :>)

It looks terrific! There's a lot of these here in San Diego. They love the dry winters. I have several posted on GoY.
