Chirita 'Chastity' on my porch. HAYWARD CA.

Superb flowering plant. I used to grow a lot of Streptocarpus hybrids when I lived in Hayward. It has the perfect climate for them.

When I bought this plant -about 10 years ago now- I had NO idea it grew this large. I was thinking Strepto size or African Violet even. Back then it was new from either Kartuz or Logee's. I forget who I ordered it from.

That's where I've seem it...at Kartuz Greenhouses. I've known Michael Kartuz for more than 20 years years.

It seems to be doing very well there in Hayward.

It can bloom- lightly any time of year-but fall is the big show. I wouldn't doubt you could grow in in ground..and who knows how much larger. Use lots of snail bait!

It's a wonderful flowering plant.
