Stunning evergreen with year round interest. Bees adore it. We have 2 of these beauties along the fence which must be at least 10 years old. Pruning is one of my favourite pastimes so after a storm blew our fence down I saw an opportunity that I couldn't resist. I cut one of them back hard. It had become top heavy and was rocking around the garden a little bit too much for my liking. I soon put a stop to that.

Thank you Simbad. There is a Blackbird nesting in the Ivy next to it who claims it's his. He perches on it and is a noisy individual. A low flying health risk when gardening. Funny to watch from the safety of indoors.
