I had also red grasses (forgot their name), but thez do not stand our winters and they were repeatedly destroyed by frosts.

Really lovely, the one at the back is stunning! I've been moving some of my Acorus this morning, and splitting them. They seem to grow in a circle, so you can just unravel them and take pieces out....
