They like the cool weather of fall...and today its rainy and muggy. Perfect for it.

Some Datura look like groundcover Brugs. Here, Lori, none seem to grow in the bay area. Inland where summer are hot and by riverbanks (water) they are native.
Thanks,seeing real rains after two years is something. The sunny,warmer winters were nice though- lol.

We're finally getting some rain, also. HURRAH! It's not as much as forecasted; however, more is coming this afternoon and tonight. :>)
I saw in Hayward there was over 2 inches of rain. My mother said there was a lot of rain over the last few days. I think you live 2 or 3 miles from my mom. This rain is great for the reservoirs which are almost dry.

This is my favourite Brug. Mine was flowering right up to the first frost.

glad to hear that you're getting some moisture! I have the brug's wild cousins come up in my garden. They are not as attractive and I usually remove them.
