Here is a Jade Plant on exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden. It stands about 4 feet tall and is just breaking into bloom. This is for you Sandra.

They are very stately looking. I had one myself about the same size as yours, but I left outside too long. They don't like cold at all - so I found out.

Ah yes, that would have been the death knell for yours,I think..I stand mine out in summer, but it comes back inside if it looks a bit dodgy.
on reflection,it seems I look after it better than I thought, ! Why,I don't know,as this is what I was carrying inside when I overbalanced and broke my wrist! .They say revenge is sweet..maybe a punishment for the way I treated it? :o))

I know how painful that must have been. I broke my wrist too a couple years back before I joined this site (baseball accident, lol!)

More inconvenient than painful,Paul..but luckily it's healed well..I must be a tough old bird,as I've had a few breaks over the years..Lol..No Osteoporosis though,just clumsy ! :o) x

You look and sound good now and that's most important. Do you go to the gym?

I feel good ,Paul..not so sure about the other bit ! Lol..me and a Gym aren't really compatible..but I can still run for the bus,if necessary :o) x

Lovely Paul, and thank you..The only difference is,that mine is only about a foot in height and width..Maybe it would have been a lot bigger, but it gets sawn off at the bottom and sides,as it gets so solid.... a bit like carving a Donor kebab ! Lol....and still it flourishes :o)
