This is a model train of the New York Central Railroad - which itself was nearly demolished in the 1980s but instead was transformed to what is now the Highline - a public park. It's now one of the most sought after real estate tracks in the country, lol! You can see pictures of the actual train by visiting my blog "Welcome to the Highline"
