Heliotrope

Heliotrope (Heliotropium arborescens (Fragrant delight))

One of my all-time favs. Second attempt to over-winter as a shrub. Last year it was swarmed by aphids and spidermites in November. This year, I'll halt the blooming.

Thanks, Jacque. If you haven't smelled them, their like vanilla bean, really intoxicating.

That's a good idea to help them make it through the dark days..(I know you have excellent lights) but they need to build strength for next spring and the best place to do that is outside. MMM..vanilla.

Thanks, Lori. If you haven't experienced them, wonderful. The blooming draws the bugs, they would naturally bloom through October. I'm gonna set them back a little so they don't bring in the bugs. Should do great that way. I'm gonna try until success!

What else?

See who else is growing Heliotropium arborescens (Fragrant delight).

See who else has plants in genus Heliotropium.
