This would have been unheard of almost any other decade. Global or urban warming or both. Even if a fluke year?- never been a year before this fluky. It adds up.

Thanks all. I think with this plant- I'm enjoying the moment. January looks to return us to the colder then average temps. At least in spells.

It's so ironic! you're talking cold and we've had strangely warm weather. It's due to end any time though. back to minus 20 C. I'd like some of your "colder then average temps". ;-)

Minus 8C is our coldest morn ever back in 1972. In 1990 we were at -6C...and I can say that no matter how cold it is where you live,being outdoors in -6 or -8 is COLD!..lol,I hope GW is ongoing for another 2 decades Lori. After I'm gone,it can get cold again!

At some point, in an average winter, -6 or 8 feels like a heat wave! It is a sobering thought that my future is two decades...if I'm lucky! I plan to just fade away...then they can prop me against one of the trees on the hill.
