Thanks Stan ..same to you and your family. The pie is a minced meat pie (pork and beef) which is a Quebecois Christmas tradition. I'm not French but it's a Canadian thing, I guess. I'm trying to cut out a lot of gluten so I make my pie crust with spelt flour. It's deliciously nutty flavour is just the thing for a savoury pie. The Quebecois make it for their evening meal after mass on Christmas Eve.

Hi Sandra...thank you, it was! (even if I say so myself.) Hope you had a happy and and a merry. We had storms Christmas day and New Year's Day... lost most of our snow then, got it back, with interest. what is this weather we're having? sure is strange.
