Helleborus cyclophyllus - 2015

Specie hellebore from Greece and the Balkans, growing to around 18 inches tall, and very similar to H. odorus. It needs a moist, rich soil in sun or part shade (full shade tends to inhibit flowering). Usually blooms in February or March, so putting in an early appearance this year.

Unusual flower. I don't think that my Hellebores are going to have many flowers this year.
