Thanks to a friendly tree surgeon (who supplied wood chips in return for a cup of tea), I have topped up the path in the bulb garden.

Thanks. I googled and it has very beautiful flower. Unknown to me. Even the leaves look attractive.
I have lots of Bergenia Cordifolia . But someone is munching on it all the time (rabbit or deer)

Looks really good Andrew.When I next hear a tree surgeon in the area, I must remember to pop round and see him with a cuppa and chocolate biscuit maybe. A friend I garden for had two trailer loads delivered when a neighbour was having trees felled. It made a great mulch for some of the borders and cut the maintenance time down by 80% !
