The strawberry plants were getting a bit old in the tooth and the alpine strawberry was taking over so I decided to buy new plants for this year and turn the area into a flower bed. I used some large rocks from up the garden, planted some Primula and Brians Cyclamen.

Frozen solid here since we got home last Monday HB. Nice to see a freshly planted bed. Glad you've got another spot for the strawbs. I'm hoping for some fruit as well this year. :). I just put an Apricot in the greenhouse, a dwarf one in a pot. I don't think there'll be fruit on it for a couple of years as it's so small, but hopefully, in time! :)

A lovely new bed which will continue to give extra colour for much of the year.

Well done you working in such cold conditions. The sign of a good gardener...one who isn't put off by the weather, there's always something to do.
