That puts mine to shame !
Mine is planted between the low patio wall and the fence, so it relies heavily on succour from the soil next door. I trim mine too, to stop it rambling through next door's variegated holly which overhangs both gardens. I am trying to encourage it to thicken from the wall up, but it is a slow process. It has late afternoon and evening sun but could probably do with more.

I bet is smells as good as it looks too...lol !
