This is one of the most spectacular pink flowering trees here in San Diego. Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on Jan. 22, 2015.

It's one of my favorites, also. They are still flowering. I have to get photos of the Bauhinia variegata (Orchid trees) before they stop flowering, as they've been flowering since January.

There's a large white orchid tree (Bauhinia variegata 'Alba') around the corner from me. I need to get some photos of that one, also.
