Gazebo on the lower level

Our gardener pulled all the surrounding lantana (which was overgrown 3' tall) and planted a dozen of little roses around and some daisies. The problem is we have lots of leaf cutting ants around and they love rose leaves. They are constantly stripped. They did not touch lantana and seems that they leave these daisies along as well.
I used to love to sit there but now it is exposed and not so pleasant to be there

Like that for my garden probably look a bit out of place though. It might give Karen ideas though.

The views are wonderful as the house sits on the hill.
This gazebo would look out of place on Vancouver Island as well Bjs but it fits here. Tiled cupolas are very popular in this region.
This part of the world is known as an artists colony and it is popular with writers, painters and other artists mainly for the physical beauty of the area and also a good weather year round.
