Its blooming in February,so I guess its a Valentines day cactus. In truth, this is a very old variety that can get huge unlike today's hybrids.

It would be much larger- 1/3 more- If the cats hadn't broken off much of the lower growth. And then I myself broke off a large wooden branch putting it on a pedestal that wasn't level..it fell over one night. Yeah,probably the cats helped on that too.
There is only so much you can do in a small yard to protect a plant.
