Bloomer of course, it is Crocus Angustifolius.colour is as the photo.
Not expensive £2.00 for ten last autumn said to increase well outside, but not here the squirrels would destroy them.
Would you believe it they are even striping and shreding my Camellia buds and dropping them on the ground. they drive me to despair.

Thank you Brian,that is great..I shall make a note for next year..Luckily we don't get Squirrels here,so I should be ok..Shame about your Camellia..mine hasn't as many buds on this year,despite keeping it well watered throughout summer...maybe it is resting..You aren't on your own,in having a moan..! Lol

The little blighters, that is so destructive, love the Crocus, the birds ruin all the yellow ones here.

I love the rich colour of these,Brian..do you know the variety please? Mine are a pale lemon,and look a bit insipid in comparison..
