Moonshine

Moonshine

Moonshine is about a year old now. He acquired me back in July, when he decided to follow me home after a run. I put "Found: Hound" signs up and after a month somebody finally called. She couldn't figure out why Shine wouldn't stay on her 40 acre property, but he kept getting off the chain she'd put him on, so she agreed that he could just stay. I think he's much happier here! He has other dogs to play with (today they were rolling around in the dust, that's why they're so dirty) and he's either in the house or in a fenced yard. Like all coonhounds, though, he is LOUD.

No wonder if he wanted to escape from his previous home if he was chained up most of the time.
I am glad he found a home with you & some 'friends' for him to play with freely. He sure wouldn't want to go back to being chained up on his own again.
I love his name.

He must have been miserable on a chain in all sorts of weather. And he LOVES my lab Sally.
His original name was Buster, but I changed it!
