winter aconites in the afternoon sun

the clump is now fully up and this started as a pot of 6 corms about 8 years ago. they seed freely too.

it took years for me to get any to establish Bjs. and then a clump has disappeared this year down the far side of the garden.

All these from one original pot, think I might try them again. I see you have them near Hellebores- coolish shade?

yes they are under a very mature beech tree. cool and quite dry in the summer.

Mine are like that Sb and like you I started off with one pot ,I love the way they have spread everywhere even in my gravel paths now ...

Thanks Seab and Amy, saw a pot 'in the green' in The Range didn't buy then, cause I have never established the dry corms. Think I will go get, just need an excuse to return to this DIY shop.
