Oh dear Sandra, sorry to hear the ice have been having a nibble, but I have to confess to disliking those mouse traps, it has to be the humane traps for me.

Yes...little menaces used to eat loads of my bulbs and gnawed away at the potting shed step to get in and raid the bird feed and seed packets etc!!

When I saw what they had done Waddy I knew it had to stop. We use to have cats and I think they were keeping them under control. I did try a rat cage one a few years ago bait always gone, never anything in the trap.

Hope it's done the trick Sandra....all the hard work and then these little freeloaders! And Gardener's Delight is my favourite cherry tomato, I'll be setting my own seeds in a few weeks. I'm lucky with Ted, he's my Avatar pic, as he is one speedy mouse eradicator!

A right mess in my seed chamber this morning!!! so off I went to the ironmongers. after careful consideration the choice of bait is a home made peanut butter and chocolate. only managed to set 2 of the traps but OH will do the others when he comes home. drastic action required!!!
gardeners delight will be in short supply this year....
