lazy winter sunset

I don't see any snow, so things must be looking up.

We've had about a week of nice sunny weather, but the temps still remain way below freezing. The ground is still covered with a couple inches of snow, more is predicted for Sunday. BRRRrrr!!

The promise of a nice morning...did you get it?

Yes, bright and sunny but still too cold. I guess it's the best I can expect for February. Spring is coming real soon. I can sense it. The sun is getting brighter and days longer.

We'll be in the 60s beginning Monday and in the 70s by next weekend. Birds are chirping, frogs are calling, winter is going, going, gone.

Yikes, we still have mountains of snow. A few birds pecking around for any seed that might have been overlooked. But I do see the light longer, and the sun is warmer. We usually get some snow in March. It must be African violet time to
get through the rest of winter!

My African Violets certainly help with the winter blues. So does hot apple pie, Those are all good signs of Spring. Warmer weather predicted for end of week.

Well, they changed our forecast. Back into the 20s at night by Thursday. I've had it. Just when we think the end is in sight our hopes get shot down again.

Strangely quiet and calm today after yesterdays raging blizzard. The sun is actually peeking through. Haven't seen that in a while - - THE SUN!

Lauram, I am with you, I've had it! This snow is beginning to get boring. I have searched for even a branch in most of the gardens, nothing but SNOW. and still COLD.
