One stem from Cornus alba Eligantissima as big as a tree!!

They grow so quickly don't they I've just cut my midwinter fire right down didn't do it in time last year, so I ve had a great afternoon shredding, love my shredder lol.

Hi simbad, yes they do it was about 10ft wide easy, didn't prune it last year so needed it this year, we've got a nice big pile of stems to cut up, not the best job, glad you love your shredder, I'm sure I would to if I had one lol :))

lol hywel, you can have a go if you like, it was on the verge of being thrown out but we're keeping it a bit longer ( much to my disappointment, its one garden feature I would prefer to do without) but as youngest is only 13 decided to keep a little longer and renewed the net as they get very tatty after a while ;))
