Pilosocereus (I think)

I was able to bring some plants outside yesterday, and hopefully they'll be able to stay outside until November. Ignore the mess around the cactus, we haven't even begun tidying up the yard and garden for spring!

Thanks for the ID! I'll be dead before it gets too tall and heavy to move. In three years it's grown maybe 5". I leave it out all summer then move it indoors in the fall; one side of it tends to get covered with cat hair because the cats like to scratch themselves on it.
I hope it flowers someday.

Not a Pilocereus but a Cardoon,Pachycereus pringlei. And ,doing darn good too. One of the largest cacti in the world.
It can grow forever in a pot..but gets tall and heavy. I saw one 5' (expensive!) and it would need two guys to move that.
I had a pot of three, planted it out where its grown very slow. Cooler summers here.
