Brown flowers anyone? Another bulb I saw in Kazakhstan where it grew on hillside scree. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil, keeping the bulb dry in summer.

The seed that you sent me has just started to germinate - thanks! Bit of a miracle actually as the squirrels picked the pot up and emptied it.

Glad you managed to save some of it Meanie. I got six seeds of the polemonium to germinate - potted them up earlier this week.
