Clivia is mass-planted in many shaded areas of Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. They are flowering everywhere. Photo taken in Balbo Park on March 18, 2015.

I've noticed some are past peak in Balboa Park, also. Clivia starts flowering very early (mid-to-late January) here in San Diego.
