I never would have guessed the parents of this. I really like the lemon yellow self with a chartreuse throat.

This is why I keep very careful records. I checked both the tag with it and the planting diagram to make sure it was right. I am starting to use a program I bought ($30) from www.plantstep.com that is designed to keep records of daylilies, iris, lilies, roses, hostas, and lots of other plants. It has a template that has all the information you need to describe a daylily, and a section for hybridizing - listing the parents (with photos), what day they were pollenated, harvested, etc. You buy it once, download, and updates are free.
