Masdevallia Orchid. 3/4 shot.

I love the flowers! I wish I could grow orchids well. I have such bad luck with them. I have some Phaelanopsis which bloom well...however, I killed most of my orchids. Even my Epidendrums are not looking very good...and my neighbor has hundreds all around their yard and they bloom so well all year.

Same here. I have the healthiest pot of reed orchids that never bloom in the country-lol. Not a one. Getting sun,warm. Never blooms. No wonder it was discounted to $5!

I think orchids are heavy feeders. This is why mine don't flower very well. My Epidendrums used to flower very well...then they started to decline.
