This is my oldest desert rose, which is 10 years old. It's loaded with flower buds. It should be flowering in the next couple of weeks. Photo taken April 3, 2015.

I try to take good care of them. They don't need much water at all during winter. I did loose two rare varieties about 3 years ago. I think I watered them too much during winter. The two varieties were an 'Ice Pink' and a white variety which faded to a blush...and not I can't find these varieties for sale. anymore.
Here's photos of the two desert roses I lost.
