Mines all leaves.

I bought it last Autumn so probably cannot take credit for these flowers .
Another one I shall try and keep the bottom of the pot damp so the roots stay alive while the top is baked

I know this is the "easiest" one,but when we had Jim Almond as a speaker on Junos,he said that the best way,is to have the compost up to where the fleshy roots join the stem. Then fill up the pot with grit.I might try that for next year.

Mines is still all leaves as well ,we haven't had any baking hot sun yet to encourage them :o(

Amy/Phil
Correct me if I am wrong but thought the baking of the tuber the previous year was what ripened it and set the buds for the following year.
Also surprised to hear Karen say she grew them presumably in the garden? Turkey seems far removed from Scotland.
I am just a little confused ( that's pretty normal these days)

The baking would definitely be after flowering.Or could it be just keeping them dry, perhaps?

I really like this. I grew it in my first garden and it did ok. It might like it here with the South facing aspect.
