Windows as planter

I really love this!

I like the blue Polypodium aureum. All I can ever find is the much more tropical frilly variety. The plain is hardy here.
Never had the other thrive or even survive for more then a year.

I has some in the SF Bay Area. They grew so well up there.

The plain or the frilly? I see a big difference. The nice plain blue will be a groundcover in cool Berkeley. The frilly is really a Florida climate fern.

I had a couple of varieties. I don't remember the names, though.
