I didn't think they would in SF. But thriving.

There are some in ground larger around here. Berkeley,Alameda. Nothing yet like in soucal. Or even close.
People are just learning about them.

I know in the 1990 freeze several younger trees were killed around the SF Bay Area.

They do very well in San Francisco. In fact, that's the safest climate in the Bay Area.
