Epimedium versicolor sulphureum (Epimedium versicolor sulpheum)

An Epimedium with reddish tinged new leaves. If I remember I cut off the older leaves. I have had this for 40 years, dependable.

Hello :-). I've been looking at Epimedium and this variety looks nice. Also looked at grandiflorum. Are they worth having? Are they easy etc., Thank you x

Hi Dawn, there is a huge range of Epimedium available, some not too easy I believe. I find the one above it super reliable for me. Have a small pink flowered one, which has never done well, till I moved it last year. Not grown any grandiflorums but recently bought an epsteinii after seeing Andrews, time will tell if it likes it here.

Thanks Sue. Yes, there is a huge range out there and I'm confused, yours above has lovely leaves. I hope yours continue to thrive, keep me posted. I've been looking at dahlia tubers too and wow, so much choice!
