Lovely Siris, he puts my plastic heron to shame ;-)

Ah, but, your plastic heron is probably to deter real ones eating your fish. Mine just spouts water when I turn him on.
I too have plastic ornaments, a woodpecker on the side of the bird table, a duck sitting on the side of the pond (1£ shop), a squirrel (without a nose, had an accident) and a small green snake's head that I found on the pavement .

Haha, I like the sound of your green snake's head and the noseless squirrel. Well my plastic heron isnt very good at his job but he looks OK.

Dawnsaunt, I tried to put up 2 pics from last year, but Bjs said they were on their side. Sent the same pic to OH's tablet no problem!
Simbad, I cleaned out this pond last year of a pink waterlily from my mums pond 30 years ago, much too big, felt guilty, regretted it, so when I recently found a piece in the compost bin, guess where it' s gone. Needs a good home with deep water?
A little green snake, now it pokes its head out of the Ophiopogon.

The Azalea in the previous picture is towards the back on the right. My garden is really quite small. Sardine can comes to mind.
