I see blue textured leaves with a chartreuse border - perfect.

Thank you Linda, I have a small collection for my shade garden up front from various places. So many colors and patterns to choose from.

They are vulnerable to snails and slugs, but our little hedgehogs help us out there and the thrushes.

Same here Linda, Slugs aren't an issue. I see possums getting them at night, thrushes by day. None of my hostas have been touched so far.

I filmed one of our little hogs last night. If I can get enough footage of the Hogs I will eventually put it on youtube.

humm interesting. I heard of hedgehogs but now I've actually seen one. Are they nocturnal like possums are? They love those red wigglers, don't they?

They come out at dusk and usually roam through about the space of 12 gardens as they try and find food. This one lives in one of the hedgehog houses that Gerry built. He has just cleaned them out and put some fresh straw in them so they are clean after the winter hibernation.

Sounds like one of those posh flats on 5th Avenue...for a hedgehog of course :)

I love Hostas Paul and this is a lovely one. I have five different ones and keep splitting them every few years to give away to the neighbours.
