Eccentric paving layout

Eccentric paving layout

150416 - I can’t understand the rationale here – the shed’s on concrete, there’s an access hatch to, I presume, the drains beside it. in between there’s a tiny bed, then a path, then concrete slabs for a patio. I’m going to fill in the gap in front of the shed with another paver (fed up of tripping on the different levels), move the patio tiles over to butt against the access slab – make it narrower, then I can have a bed the other side as well.

Lots of work
Fran TCO your back! I annoyed my left knee and ankle helping move furniture earlier this week.

ooh, hope you're not too badly injured, and that it won't take long to clear up.

actually, it wsn't so much tripping up as s tepping down an unexpected step, which happened about every time i went to the shed and opened the door.

there's one large paving slab which i rescued from the other side of hte patio, i'll move that in fits and starts till it's in the right place, and the smaller pavers i'll move equally slowly - i've already taken one row off the patio, stacking the slabs and levelling the brick-dirt-grunge underneath. that was a fun day's work, which i paid for over the next few days! but it felt good to have done it.

now i need to get round to doing some more, but a bit more slowly this tiem - i keep forgetting to pace myself to minimise the consequences later.
