First time blooming for me. I thought this was "Children Playing", but that is the one behind it.

This is 7" across. The larger ones tend to be spatulate or spider types. A Spatulate is wider at the end, add canoeing (where the sides curl in), and you get the elf ears. The person that I buy most of my new plants from also favours the round form.

This is stunning Wylie Ladybug do breed some amazing dayliles :-)
I saw one on ebay yesterday from a seller I've bought lots of lovely ones from in the past 'Dr Strangelove' very different, near white with dashes and speckles of raspberry, I'm tempted:-)

If I had the colder weather, I would be tempted, also. Spots and Stripes was an article in the last AHS Journal about this newest trend.

Personally I prefer the rounded petals to the elf's ears.
