Blue Carpet

This takes me back to being a kid. To get to the beautiful bluebell woods at Swakeleys we would walk miles and cross the A40 near to where we lived. It's now the M40 and when I go along it I shudder at what we did back then.
A stunning photo just a shame that so many of these areas are gone forever.

Yes, you are right Thorneyside, we are lucky that this part of the Birmingham/Bromsgrove border has remained untouched.
