I cannot get over how well this one turned out. My main daylily area is on a slope, and this is at the top, looking over everything. The bright yellow throat really stands out. Automatically one of the top 5 for this year.

Top 5 already though Wylie and the years still young, I really don't know how you choose I just want them all!!
This year I need to be more ruthless so many seedlings in pots and the allotments full, well the half I'm allowed, although I've got my eye on a patch near the shed lol.

Last evening, I went out back where this is and sat for a while. As the dusk came on, the red self of this faded into the background and the bright yellow throat stood out like a huge 6 pointed star. Yes, Top 5!
I am working on a new grow-on area for the keepers, and have made notes on the keepers from last year that won't be around next year.
