Almost looks that one of the babies blooms. Beautiful flowers.

Thank you ... The babies and 'mother' plant all flower.
They come from the base of the plant.

NICE. Rebutia's are great flowerers. Slow as molasses in a pot...but hardy and easy to keep. I bought one 6-7 years ago and it hasn't filled in the 6" pot I bought it in. Just slow and steady.

This one is also quite a few years old. Flowers well every year, but the bright colour looks dull with a digital camera.

Thank you. I prefer to use Terracotta pots.
The photo is bigger than the actual plant :)

What a gem lovely colour to.

Thank you :o)
The colour isn't true though. It is really a bright vermillion red but the modern camera doesn't pick it up properly.

Perhaps try taking it at dusk when its been a sunny day you might get the true colour then Hywel.

That would be a good idea Thrupennybit, but they close at dusk :(
Maybe in the shade might work. I'll try ...
