Thank you ... The babies and 'mother' plant all flower.
They come from the base of the plant.

NICE. Rebutia's are great flowerers. Slow as molasses in a pot...but hardy and easy to keep. I bought one 6-7 years ago and it hasn't filled in the 6" pot I bought it in. Just slow and steady.

This one is also quite a few years old. Flowers well every year, but the bright colour looks dull with a digital camera.

Thank you. I prefer to use Terracotta pots.

The colour isn't true though. It is really a bright vermillion red but the modern camera doesn't pick it up properly.

Perhaps try taking it at dusk when its been a sunny day you might get the true colour then Hywel.
