My Markhamia is loaded with hundreds of flowers right now and has hundreds more buds. It started flowering a couple of months ago. Photo taken May 22, 2015.

The drought will be extreme for the whole summer. Even though we have received some rain in May, which is very rare, it wasn't enough to affect this exceptional drought. We need to receive 20 plus inches of rain here in San Diego to break the drought. This time of year it would take a big miracle. April - November is our dry season here in San Diego, CA.
