Clematis Haku Okan

Nice blue.....I hve to say, I never heard of this one before!
And....8 petals!!

It is a lovely blue, and yes 8 petals. I rescued this one about five years ago, didn't think it would survive, but hey ho, it seems to be doing well now.

Isntthos one gorgeous? I'm loving seeing your clems Cinders! I only have buds on mine at the moment. My poor spring alpina one had all its buds stripped by the house sparrows during the House Sparrow Wars! (Weaponry included a ladder and about six cannisters of expanding foam in the roof tiles, but we won in the end!). They took their revenge....;)
