the (Chinese) wisteria is sending out tendrils. These are very slow growing... I just hope it survives the winter ok.

this must be the year for wisteria! I can't decide where to plant mine either! some books say it's a thug...others caution serious care! I've decided that I won't coddle it. It twines left to right so it's Chinese. hope it makes it but I won't be surprised if it does not.

almost a month later, Sandra and I can't decide. Have built a grape trellis and put the obelisk over a clematis...but still can't decide if I should put the wisteria near the house or not... have some painting to do on bridge and obelisk..then I'll post a pic or two.
