Rufus keeping his nether half dry!

Hello Lori .... you're not going to believe this, before I zoomed in on your photo, I thought it was someone BBQ-ing in the rain ! Good thinking Rufus.

That's a good one Alanb! Rufus is atypical in that he does not mind the rain... he is happy with drizzle! Must have some English blood.

Lovely rufus, yes he is a bit different, most cats hate getting wet. I'm happy with rain, it's been so dry up here, all my waterbutts empty but over the last few days they've been filling up nicely.
I want some sun back now thank you

Mid week...last week... we had drizzly rain for our Canada Day celebrations. We've had only three or four days of warm temps and with the constant wind it is dry as a bone. Had a number of plants to transplant and I sure could use some nice wet days. I don't mind the heat..it's the muggy humidity that's bothersome. What is the matter with me? I was adamant last winter in the depths of frozen winter that I would never again complain about the heat! lol...we forget so quickly don't we? ;-)

I actually rather like muggy humidity strangely enough.
Where we are the wind never stops, downside of having a fabulous view and living on a hill top.
